Only Zoom session organizers can record meetings. However, you can ask the meeting admin to let you record the screen.

If you're an admin and want to allow attendees to record a Zoom, you'll need to click the Participants > More. Next to the Participant's name, select the Allow Record option. Similarly, to revoke permission, right-click on a Participant and select Forbid Record.

1. First, open the Zoom desktop app on your PC and log in to your Zoom account.

2. Now, you need to hold a New Meeting or Join with an existing one as the host.



3. Next, click Record during the meeting, as the screenshot below shows.


4. If you have a Zoom premium account on PC, you will get the option to choose between Local and Cloud.

5. To stop the recording, click on Stop, as shown in the screenshot below. Or, click the More button and select Stop Recording. 


6. After clicking stop recording, the recorded clip will be saved to C: Drive > Zoom on your laptop. You can open the folder to view the recordings. 

7. If you choose the type of recording with the cloud, you can visit zoom.us and please log in with your account. Then, go to the Recording tab to view the saved recordings.

If you are a participant and the host or admin doesn't allow you to record the Zoom Meeting, then you need to find another way to record the zoom screen.
